Amy Sullivan, R.N., a clinical nurse on 7 North, is the DAISY Award recipient. She was nominated for this honor by a patient who wrote:
“It was my first time at the hospital and I was so scared. Amy’s top priority was my comfort – she was always one step ahead. Despite having a broken spine, I always looked forward to seeing her and can’t say enough about the great things she did for me. Amy is passionate and really cares about her patients. She made me feel like family.”
Amy’s manager added:
“Amy has been a member of the 7 North team for over eight years. She is consistently recognized for being an advocate for our patients and their families. Amy exemplifies service standards in her daily practice when providing care. She is a true leader and a resource for all staff. We are lucky to her!”
Congratulations, Amy, and thank you for your commitment to patient- and family-centered care.
