Anna Chromiak, R.N.

Anna Chromiak, R.N., has been caring for patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) since 2006. She was nominated for the DAISY Award by the mother of a patient who spent nine days in the NICU. The parent wrote:

“Anna is the perfect example of a nurse. She is very passionate about her job. While my son was in the NICU, Anna was attentive and provided excellent care to my son and me. I saw her holding babies even when it was not feeding time, showing how much she does for the patients. Anna is understanding. It was clear that caring and nurturing are more than a job for her―they are part of her personality. I truly believe he got better because of her attention and affection in a difficult time for a baby, and I can never thank her enough for all that she did for my son.”

Members of the NICU Leadership Team describe Anna as a strong advocate for her patients and a resource for the NICU staff.

"Anna is a very versatile nurse and is able to work with all levels of acuity. She is always willing to help other staff. She recently completed a clinical rotation with Cherilyn Ashlock (Director of Professional Practice) and graduated with her BSN. This is a well-deserved award for a highly talented nurse.”

Congratulations to Anna for being honored for her nursing excellence through the DAISY Award.
