Hurricane Ian Update

Posted on Sep 30, 2022

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital will resume normal operations at most locations next week in the wake of Hurricane Ian.

Exceptions include the Outpatient Care locations in Fort Myers and North Port. Those locations are closed indefinitely while storm damage is assessed and repaired. Johns Hopkins All Children’s will try to reschedule patients for other locations to the extent possible.

Visitation policy returned to a pre-storm level on Friday, Sept. 30.

Additionally, Johns Hopkins All Children’s is assisting Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida by accepting more than a dozen pediatric patients — including several neonatal intensive care unit infants — by transfer from the Fort Myers-based hospital.
