Paige Ward, R.N.

Paige Ward, R.N., a clinical nurse in Perioperative Services, has been part of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s family since 2011 and a member of the periop team for approximately four years. She was nominated for the DAISY Award by a patient’s parent, who wrote:

“When my daughter was upset and hungry while we waited for a procedure, Paige went above and beyond to soother her. There had been a delay, and I was about to leave. But Paige held my daughter and made a difference, even though she was supposed to be off work! I believe she should be recognized for her wonderful, professional patient care.”

Paige’s supervisor says she is invaluable to the Periop team and committed to providing excellent family-centered care:

“Paige shows kindness and compassion to her patients and families. What I admire most is that Paige has a gift of recognizing how she can best support families and does not hesitate to jump in and go above and beyond to ensure patients and families are comfortable during a stressful time. She exemplifies our core values and is an asset to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.”

Congratulations, Paige, and thank you for your commitment to nursing excellence.
