The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Pediatric Residency Program Class of 2022
Match Day is one of the most important days for graduating medical students. Across the country and the world, these students learn where they will spend the next years to continue their training. The National Resident Matching Program announced the members of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Pediatric Residency Program Class of 2022.

Nurse resident Victoria Phan, who was born at 26 weeks and spent her first three months in the NICU at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, now trains under Betsy Adams, R.N., the same nurse who cared for her as a preemie.

Lindsay Arenas, R.N. has many different memories of Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She made many lunch, dinner and holiday visits with her mom, a neonatal nurse, and her dad, a respiratory therapist. She also spent many years as a patient, receiving surgery and treatment for a rare bone disease. Now, she’s a clinical manager on the surgical neurosciences unit, making her own impact on young patients.
Gracie was diagnosed with a brain tumor after experiencing neck pain
When 4-year-old Gracie’s fleeting neck pain made for a difficult diagnosis, her pediatrician referred her to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, where she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Under the care of surgeons George Jallo, M.D. and Jerry Tuite, M.D., Gracie is now on her journey to recovery.

Five Feet Apart, a film that debuted in theaters this year, featured two star-crossed teens with cystic fibrosis who fall for each other despite having an illness that necessitates they maintain physical distance due to the risk of infection. Deanna Green, M.D., director of our Cystic Fibrosis Center, and Lynsey, a patient who has cystic fibrosis, shared if the film got the facts right.
