U.S. News & World Report ranked Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital as the best pediatric hospital in the Tampa Bay region in its 2022-2023 rankings. Johns Hopkins All Children’s ranked nationally in four specialty areas, led by the neurology and neurosurgery program, which achieved the hospital’s highest ranking ever.
We were named one of only eight “Top Children’s Hospitals” in the country for patient safety and quality by a national non-profit watchdog organization that collects and publishes information about health care organizations.

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) designated us as a Level 1 Children’s Surgery Center, a verification of excellence that is held by fewer than 50 children’s hospitals in the United States.

The American Academy of Pediatrics designates our neonatal intensive care unit with its highest level of care.
Level 4 Epilepsy Center
The National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) gives its highest designation to our program for providing more complex forms of intensive neurodiagnostic monitoring, as well as more extensive medical, neuropsychological, and psychosocial treatment.
Recognized Center of Care
The Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation recognizes our Heart Institute for providing high-quality cardiac care and specialized disease management to children with cardiomyopathy.
Cystic Fibrosis Care Center
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation accredits our program as a center of excellence for clinical care, research and multidisciplinary support for cystic fibrosis (CF) patients. Our program is also a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-designated Therapeutic Development Center, one of more than 80 centers worldwide specializing in clinical trials to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new therapies.
