Interim Senior Counsel
M. Ryan Mannion serves as interim senior counsel for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He provides legal counsel for the hospital, oversees the privacy and accreditation divisions, and manages contract work in support of the hospital’s treatment and academic mission. Mannion has been with Johns Hopkins since 2007.
He is also senior counsel for real estate, business and international matters in the Legal Department of The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation. Before that, he was the general counsel and corporate secretary for Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare Company, a joint venture between Johns Hopkins Medicine and Saudi Aramco to enhance the health care delivery system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In that capacity Mannion was responsible for leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives and for coordinating the activities of the Board of Managers.
Before that, Mannion was the associate senior counsel for real estate, business and international matters for The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation. He advised Johns Hopkins Medicine on joint ventures and business affiliations with third parties, with particular emphasis on matters involving Johns Hopkins Medicine International. He also handled debt financings and real estate transactions.
He graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a degree in Political Science. He also graduated with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
