Melissa Macogay, MBA, BSN, RN, CCRN-K, NE-BC is vice president and chief nursing officer for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.

A registered nurse for more than 19 years, Macogay started as a nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She joined Johns Hopkins All Children’s in 2008 and served in multiple roles including interim chief nursing officer, director of the PICU, surgical neuroscience unit and dialysis as well as senior director of nursing for the Institute for Brain Protection Sciences.

Macogay holds an M.B.A. from Baker College as well as a B.S.N. She is certified in critical care and is also a board-certified nurse executive (NE-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Macogay is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Association of Critical Care Nurses, American Organization of Nurse Executives and the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses.
