Susan Tuite, J.D., M.P.H., serves as senior counsel for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She provides legal counsel for the hospital, oversees the privacy and accreditation divisions, and manages contract work in support of the hospital’s treatment and academic mission.
She joined the team as senior counsel in 2019. She had previously served as the assistant general counsel for All Children's Hospital from 1996 to 1999, after serving as a staff attorney for the Office of the General Counsel of Baylor College of Medicine. From 2007 to 2011, she was associate regional chief legal officer for Adventist Health System (now AdventHealth), providing counsel to nine hospitals and health care entities in the West Florida region.
A board-certified health care attorney, Tuite operated her own practice, Tuite Health Law, during the past eight years, providing a full range of health law services to individual and institutional clients. She is a graduate of Washington University and holds a master's of public health from Harvard University and juris doctor from Northwestern University School of Law.
