Ladonna Bingham, MD

Ladonna Bingham, MD

Critical Care Medicine
Dr. Bingham is the assistant medical director of the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) where she helps manage and oversee care of patients at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. She previously served as the interim chief of critical care. She cares for patients in the PICU and Center for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. She is pediatric medical director of the LifeLine critical care transport team at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She is also serving as the interim medical director of the Center for Medical Simulation and Innovative Education. She joined the hospital staff in 2005.

William (Bill) Cullis

William (Bill) Cullis

Simulation Technologist

Bill Cullis is a simulation technician in the Center for Medical Simulation and Innovative Education at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. He operates and manages the technology, equipment and supplies for mannequin-based simulation in pediatric care, and also manages the audio-visual and IT operations for the center. Bill holds a degree in Computer Engineering Technology.

Education Specialist

Katie Fitzpatrick is a Simulation Education Specialist with a passion for curriculum design and technology. Katie (Fitz) comes from Boston with almost a decade of experience in pediatric healthcare simulation delivering on-site and in-situ high fidelity sim. Her work has taken her from the side of a mountain with the Massachusetts DMAT team; to South American and Europe delivering sim and sharing her knowledge and experience. She is particularly passionate about ECMO Simulation and Surgical Simulation. Katie is currently pursing her Masters in Project Management and.


Joshua Franczyk

Joshua Franczyk

Simulation Technologist

Joshua Franczyk, AT, CHSOS is a Simulation Technologist at the Center for Medical Simulation and Innovative Education at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Prior to his employment at John Hopkins, Joshua was the Manager of Simulation at the STAR Center and a Simulation Specialist at the WISER Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has over a decade of experience in simulation and has worked with numerous professional experts developing courses, conducting research and programming the simulators to create medical emergencies. He received an Associate Degree from the Western School of Health and Business specialized in Anesthesia Technology. Upon graduation Joshua was the Clinical Coordinator at the Western School for the Anesthesia Technologist program. He was responsible for the student’s clinical education at hospitals throughout the Pittsburgh region.

SIM Engineer

Matt is a simulation engineer at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Matt has over nine years of professional experience in medical simulation and over ten years of professional videography experience. Matt's simulation roles have included: managing simulation labs, operating medical simulators, high-fidelity simulation design, simulation repairs, creation of medical trainers, moulage, budgeting, capital requests, curriculum design, audiovisual systems design and operation, videography, video debriefing, and inter-professional training. Matt has worked with the following brands of medical simulators; Laerdal, Gaurmard Scientific, and CAE (Meti).


Morgan Woodard

Morgan Woodard

Administrative Coordinator

Morgan Woodard is an Administrative Coordinator who will provide support and expertise to our team members. Morgan is from New York and has more than three years’ experience in a healthcare setting. Morgan's role in the Simulation Center is focused primarily on Business Operations. Along with her many operational tasks, Morgan has taken on an additional role as Fellowship Coordinator.
