Office of Medical Education

About Us

The Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Office of Medical Education in St. Petersburg, Florida invites medical students, residents and fellows to explore our state-of-the art facilities and outstanding educational opportunities.

Our 259-bed hospital has some 300 physicians on staff, including 24/7 hospitalists and intensivists who manage the care of patients on the medical and surgical units and in our three ICUs. Because our physicians and specialists play a direct role in their patients’ daily care, our JHACH residents are able to benefit from highly meaningful clinical experiences working one-on-one with our physicians to provide patient care and focus on education within our hospital and outpatient settings. For instance, more than a dozen attending neonatologists manage the care of infants in our 97-bed NICU. During the NICU rotation, residents and students will work with the attendings as a cohesive team, caring for a small number of patients while collaborating on continuous quality improvement strategies and enjoying a variety of didactic opportunities throughout the rotation.

Interested medical students seeking more information on the program or on arranging visiting clinical/research in a variety of pediatric subspecialties can reference information through our website or contact our office at 727-767-4106.
