Johns Hopkins All Children's Foundation Institutional Research Grant Program
The Johns Hopkins All Children's Foundation Institutional Research Grant Program is a competitive program for intramural funding of the research interests of the professional staff at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and investigators primarily based at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. This funding instrument is designed to provide principal investigators with the required data to pursue extramural funding applications for research focused on child health and disease. All proposals undergo a scientific review process with criteria that reflects the criteria of the National Institutes of Health. Applications are considered three times yearly. The application submission deadlines are: February 15, June 15 and October 15 of every year. The typical grant will not exceed $100,000 annually, and $250,000 in total over a maximum 3-year award period.
For proposals that do not have substantive preliminary data, an alternative Pilot-Feasibility & Proof of Concept (P-F/POC) mechanism is available; the P-F/POC grant is a maximum $30,000, 1-year award, with applications made by investigators via their respective Institute or Department-based Research Councils or one of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s organization-wide Interdisciplinary Research Groups.
