Tré LaRosa
Tré LaRosa is a 29-year-old adult with CF living in the Washington, DC area. He is a writer, scientist, consultant, and patient advocate.
Throughout his career, he has written pieces on a wide swath of topics, ranging from life with cystic fibrosis, grief, and mental health to patient-reported outcomes and biomarkers in respiratory, pulmonary, and neurological conditions. He currently serves on the CF Foundation’s Therapeutic Development Network Clinical Research Executive Committee and has served on various other CFF committees, including the Adult Advisory Council.
He is passionate about making the most of his time when not at work: spending time with his girlfriend, Jess, and their two dogs, Duncan and Leo, reading, hiking, playing basketball or golf, and exploring the world through travel. Tré lost his sister Alyssa to chronic rejection after her second bilateral lung transplant, which has only further motivated Tré to speak on his experiences.
