Supporting Healthy Lifestyles for Teens
The choices that kids and teens make often impact their health as an adult, creating an essential need for education. Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital recognizes this need and is committed to providing healthy lifestyle resources for families and health care providers and tools to empower teens to take their health into their own hands.
With support from Kohl’s Cares, Fit4Allkids is expanding efforts to take on obesity in teens.
Programming includes:
- Fit4Allteens community-based weight management classes
- Cooking classes at community locations
- Healthcare provider trainings and resources
- School-based wellness programming in select schools
Since 2005, Kohl’s has provided more than $1 million in grant funding to John's Hopkins All Children's Hospital in support of youth nutrition and culinary programs, projects and special events.
