Background
Dr. Talluto is a cardiologist in the Johns Hopkins All Children's Heart Institute. He joined the hospital staff in 2021. He specializes in adults with congenital heart defects and adolescents who are transitioning into adult care.
Previously, he was an adult congenital cardiologist and a pediatric cardiologist at Fairfax Inova Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia, where he was head of the adult congenital heart disease program and co-director of the exercise physiology lab. Dr. Talluto created a transition program for adolescents and teens to transfer into adult care and created and implemented guidelines for appropriate use of exercise testing for patients with congenital heart disease. He has special interest in pregnancy and congenital heart disease, as well as exercise and preventative medicine.
Dr. Talluto completed his pediatric cardiology fellowship at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, California. He stayed on to complete a fourth year in adult congenital cardiology at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, California. He did his internal medicine and a pediatric residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York where he served as chief resident his final year. He currently is boarded in pediatrics, internal medicine, pediatric cardiology and adult congenital cardiology. He graduated Cum Laude at Upstate Medical University at Syracuse in Syracuse, New York.
