Background
Dr. Frederick Kuo is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida and holds the rank of Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He joined the hospital staff in 2021.
Dr. Kuo earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine with training at Texas Children's Hospital, followed by a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Dr. Kuo’s clinical focuses include point-of-care ultrasound and esophageal/airway treatment, and he is involved in residency and fellowship education and training. His research interests center around clinical informatics and machine learning using large clinical data sets and registries to improve patient care and outcomes.
