Background

Dr. Sajan specializes in pediatric cardiology and pediatric cardiac critical care medicine in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Heart Institute. He joined the hospital staff in 2020. 

Dr. Sajan came to Johns Hopkins All Children’s from Chicago, where he worked as a pediatric cardiologist and pediatric cardiac intensivist at the Advocate Children’s Hospital Heart Institute, a three-star Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) program.   

He earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed an internship at Columbia University in New York, and his residency at Children’s Hospital at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri. He completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, a fellowship in pediatric cardiac intensive care at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the Labbatt Family Heart Centre at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
