Dr. Toldi is a sports medicine physician at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. He joined the hospital staff in 2020. He will also serve as director of the hospital’s Pediatric Sports Medicine Fellowship Program.

He was most recently medical director of the University of South Alabama Concussion Clinic and the founding Sports Medicine Fellowship Director for the university.

Dr. Toldi earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. He completed his transitional internship in the Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program in Tucson, Arizona; and a residency in family medicine (sports medicine track) at Florida State University College of Medicine at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida. He then completed a fellowship in sports medicine at University of New Mexico College of Medicine in Albuquerque.

He has been a team physician for multiple professional, collegiate and high school teams, as well as endurance events, including experience as a Division I collegiate team physician at University of South Alabama, San Diego State University, the University of New Mexico and Florida Gulf Coast University.

Dr. Toldi serves on many regional and national committees for education, sports medicine and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He regularly presents at national conferences as well.

Dr. Toldi treats all sports related injuries but has a passion for concussion education, evaluation and treatment. He has developed a systematic approach to screening concussions as well as safe, evidenced-based return to learn and return to sport protocols. He looks to continue his research focus on sports-related concussions at Johns Hopkins All Children’s.
