Background
Dr. Odendal specializes in pediatric emergency medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the hospital staff in 2018. Her clinical interests include trauma and transport medicine, as well as clinical teaching.
Before joining the hospital staff, Dr. Odendal was a clinical lecturer in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Calgary/Alberta Children's Hospital.
Dr. Odendal earned her medical degree with distinction at the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine and Oral Health Sciences. She completed her pediatric residency as chief pediatric resident at the University of British Columbia and a clinical fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine as well as one year of pediatric critical care at the University of British Columbia.
