Background
Dr. Chan specializes in pediatric anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesia at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She previously served as co-director, regional pediatric anesthesia at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. She joined Johns Hopkins All Children’s in 2018.
Dr. Chan completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia after residency training in anesthesiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital-University of Miami in Miami, Florida. She also trained as a pediatric intern and resident at Miami Children’s Hospital after graduating from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville.
Dr. Chan is a member of the Society of Pediatric Anesthesiology and the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), serving in 2017 on the ASA Committee on Pediatric Anesthesia. Dr. Chan is fluent in Spanish and also speaks some Cantonese.
