Dr. Thomas is a child and adolescent psychiatrist for the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Institute for Brain Protection Sciences. She joined hospital staff in 2018.
Dr. Thomas earned her medical degree from American University of Integrative Sciences. She trained in psychiatry at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, Virginia. Dr. Thomas then completed a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania.
She is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. She is an assistant professor for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at the University of South Florida. She was selected for Tampa’s Doctors of the Year in 2020.
Her interests include family dynamics, parent-child interaction and connectedness within the family to promote positive outcomes for the pediatric population.
