Dr. Benator is medical director of nuclear medicine and radiation safety at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He also serves as radiation safety officer and chair of the radiation safety committee. He joined the hospital staff in 1988 and was instrumental in the addition of nuclear medicine to the hospital’s imaging services.
Dr. Benator earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He trained in diagnostic radiology and completed a pediatric radiology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee.
