Our team is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology to meet all patient’s needs during the transfer process.

What you should be ready to provide when you call:

  • Your name
  • Referring physician's name and hospital
  • Your phone number
  • Patient name, date of birth and weight
  • Face sheet available to send
  • Current diagnosis

What you can expect from our Transport Center:

  • Collect all the above information upon receiving your call
  • Determine the appropriate physician for acceptance of the transfer
  • Determine the location where patient will be transferred and bed assignment
  • Assist with coordinating the mode of transport to assure a timely transfer to our health care facility

Please Note:

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Lifeline Team our critical care transport service, may be asked to bring your child aboard one of our specially equipped ambulances or helicopters. This team provides round-the-clock specialized transport care to critically ill newborns, infants, children and teens from throughout the state of Florida. Each team member has neonatal and pediatric critical care experience as well as additional training in advanced cardio-respiratory support and transport critical care. Our transport team will help answer any questions you may have about next steps in your child's care.
