Children who need rehabilitation services can receive the care they need closer to home at our Outpatient Care Center in Sarasota. We serve families throughout the greater Tampa Bay area and beyond, welcoming patients from neighboring counties such as Manatee, DeSoto, and Charlotte.

Our pediatric audiologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech-language and feeding therapists have expertise in treating children with a range of conditions and concerns, including those with complex medical conditions.

Pediatric Audiology

Our pediatric audiologists in Sarasota evaluate and treat children with hearing loss and hearing disorders to help them hear and communicate to the best of their ability.

We provide services in Sarasota including:

  • Newborn hearing screening
  • Natural sleep Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) evaluation
  • Pediatric hearing tests for children and teens of all ages
  • Hearing aid evaluation
  • Evaluation for other assistive listening devices

Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Our pediatric occupational therapists help children with a range of conditions, including major injuries and illness, gain independence in their daily activities.

  • Pelvic floor rehabilitation

Pediatric Physical Therapy

Our pediatric physical therapists provide skilled care for children with conditions that affect their musculoskeletal system, including chronic conditions, developmental delays, or recovery from injury or surgery. 

We provide services in Sarasota including:

  • Orthopaedic and sports evaluation and treatment

Our physical therapists also provide care as part of the Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome Clinic, which cares for babies who were exposed to certain types of medicines or drugs in utero.

Pediatric Speech-Language and Feeding

Our pediatric speech-language pathologists help children who have issues with speech and language, or feeding and swallowing issues, including newborns and children of all ages with complex medical conditions.

We provide services in Sarasota for children with a range of conditions including:

  • Feeding, chewing, and swallowing disorders
  • Autism spectrum disorders
  • Auditory processing issues
  • Cleft palate and craniofacial disorders
  • Apraxia of speech

Construction Update
The Florida Department of Transportation is reconstructing the interchange at Interstate 75 and Clark Road (SR 72) in Sarasota County. Beginning Oct. 10, 2021, until the project is complete, patients and families may encounter delays when travelling to the Outpatient Care Center in Sarasota, which will continue to be accessible from the interstate.
