For all our patients, our general pediatrics practice serves as their “medical home.” Their pediatrician is their primary care doctor and central resource for their care needs and provides referrals to specialists as needed. Our pediatricians are experienced in caring for children with complex medical conditions and work closely with their specialists to provide greater continuity of care.
In addition to our pediatricians, providers in specialties such as cardiology, pulmonology, sports medicine, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy also see patients at Outpatient Care, Sarasota.
Patients who may need to see one or more specialists often don’t have to travel for additional care. The pediatricians serve as your child’s primary care physician and work closely with your child’s specialists in the same facility. Care coordinators work with families to help seamlessly schedule appointments with specialists as needed.
