Comprehensive primary care services for children of all ages in Sarasota
Our pediatricians provide primary care services for children of all ages in the Sarasota area. Children receive comprehensive care close to home from Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital pediatric experts who have experience treating patients with a wide range of medical concerns, from common childhood illnesses to complex conditions.
Our full range of primary care services for children of all ages includes:
- Routine checkups
- Treatment for common or minor childhood illnesses
- Care for behavioral problems
- School and sports physicals
For all our patients, our general pediatrics practice serves as their “medical home.” Their pediatrician is their primary care doctor and central resource for their care needs and provides referrals to specialists as needed. Our pediatricians are experienced in caring for children with complex medical conditions and work closely with their specialists to provide greater continuity of care.
Comprehensive Care in One Location
In addition to our pediatricians, providers in specialties such as cardiology, pulmonology, sports medicine, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy also see patients at Outpatient Care, Sarasota.
Patients who may need to see one or more specialists often don’t have to travel for additional care. The pediatricians serve as your child’s primary care physician and work closely with your child’s specialists in the same facility. Care coordinators work with families to help seamlessly schedule appointments with specialists as needed.
We also have dedicated isolation space for established General Pediatrics patients to have same-day, in-person sick visits when they have possible COVID-19 symptoms. Learn more about the COVID-19 procedures we have in place to protect your family’s health and well-being.
