Molecular Determinants Core

Using our unique process, we isolate proteins, peptides, metabolites and lipids from the same sample, in a manner that is compatible with both targeted and profiling mass spectrometry technologies. RNA and DNA can also be isolated using a portion of the sample. Our unique process allows us to perform comprehensive analysis by proteomics, peptidomics, lipidomics and metabolomics.

The Molecular Determinants Core's primary location is at our Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg Florida, and our secondary location is at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.

We are also fully aligned with and cross validate policies and procedures with the Johns Hopkins All Children's Biorepository and Clinical and Translational Research Organization (CTRO). Therefore, by leveraging our institutional partners, we can support a wide range of clinical studies all the way from sample collection, processing and storage (under CAP accreditation), through to complex clinical data analysis, whilst adhering to the highest possible standards.
