Cancer and Blood Disorders

At Johns Hopkins All Children’s Cancer & Blood Disorders Institute, our pediatric oncologists and hematologists work with families to fight cancer, leukemia, lymphoma and more.

Standing Up to Childhood Cancer

When faced with life’s most challenging moments, you want answers, options and advice from a team of trusted experts. Our pediatric Hematology and Oncology Department provides a multidisciplinary approach to care that includes integrated outpatient and inpatient services at our main hospital in St. Petersburg and outpatient care centers throughout Florida's west coast, with support from nurse practitioners, research nurses, case managers, pediatric social workers, pharmacists, nutritionists, physical therapists and child life programming.
As one of the largest pediatric hematology-oncology programs in the southeastern United States and a leading center for treatment and clinical research, our leading edge treatments combine the best hands-on clinical care with advanced technology.
To help you navigate your family’s cancer journey, download this handbook, written by members of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) to help you learn about childhood cancer and its treatment. The handbook contains information about resources that are available at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and in the Tampa Bay area to help you care for your child, as well as helpful information about pediatric oncology.
