Eat to Thrive Program

The Eat to Thrive program provides food on a referral basis to help support patients’ treatment plans.

For patients with many medical conditions, eating the right foods can improve overall health. The Eat to Thrive program is a nutrition and wellness program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.

Patients with certain medical conditions can receive a referral from their doctor for healthy foods they can pick up on our campus.

These medical conditions may include:

  • Pregnancy
  • Diabetes
  • Hemodialysis
  • Obesity

Patients and families who are referred to the program by their provider also will get information on how to choose the right foods to help improve their health and gain cooking skills to help make the foods taste great and easy to eat.
