We have participated in quality control proficiency testing administered by the College of American Pathologists and others since 1989.
Shipping & Specimen Requirements
For routine and sequencing testing, we require 2cc whole blood (0.5cc for an infant) collected in an EDTA (lavender top) tube, sent at room temperature.

Routine testing is completed within a target turn-around time of 21 days following specimen receipt. Sequencing tests are completed within 2 to 6 weeks, depending on complexity. Urgent testing has a target completion time of 7 days from specimen receipt. Test results are in the form of a written report, and can be phoned in or faxed in addition, as requested.
