Laboratory Certification
The Immunology Laboratory is certified by the College of American Pathology (License #15309-01) and by CLIA (License #10D0700790). We have participated in quality control tests/surveys administered by the College of American Pathologists and others since 1982.

Specimens are accepted 24/7 through the Main Clinical Laboratory.
Request Forms
For Immunology, General; Immunology, Allergens; and Immunology, Food Allergens requests: Please use the
Laboratory Ordering Requisition form. For B-ALL Minimal Residual Disease please use the
B-ALL Minimal Residual Disease form.

Located in the Outpatient Care Center, Immunology is a full service pediatric based laboratory.
The Immunology lab provides services in the following sub-sections: Flow Cytometry, Infectious Disease; Serology and Molecular, Allergy
Services We Offer
- General Immunology (Infectious disease and autoimmune serology, allergy testing, serum immunoglobulins, anti-pneumococcal IgG antibody quantification, functional complement)
- Flow Cytometry (Lymphocyte subset enumeration, leukemia/lymphoma immunophenotyping, neutrophil oxidative burst [DHR], naïve T cell quantification)
- Molecular Microbiology (qualitative HSV-1/2 with differentiation, quantitative viral loads for: CMV, EBV, parvovirus B19, HHV-6, adenovirus, BK virus)
