Our expanded Inpatient Wound Service is available to assist you and your patients. We continue to provide inpatient care on a consultative basis to hospitalized patients with wound, skin and ostomy issues. Our service is available for routine consults Monday through Friday during business hours. During non-business hours, only urgent consults will be answered.
Ambulatory Wound Service
The Pediatric Ambulatory Wound Service outpatient clinic has added hours. Patients are seen Monday through Friday by appointment in the Pediatric General & Plastic Surgery offices in the Outpatient Care Center. The outpatient wound service provides care for patients with:
- minor burns
- pressure ulcers
- drained abscesses
- dehisced surgical wounds
- minor trauma
- acute and chronic wounds
- ostomy care issues
- and other wounds as appropriate
The service is primarily staffed by Kris Rogers, ARNP, CWON, along with the Advanced Practice Providers from the pediatric general surgery and plastic surgery practices. Medical direction is provided by the pediatric general surgeons.
