Cooking Classes for Families
Kids are more likely to try new foods when they play an active role in choosing and preparing them.
Our free family cooking class introduces kids to foods they may not have tried before and the skills needed to prepare a nutritious meal.
Allkids in the Kitchen is a special five-week series designed for children ages 7 and up that focuses on making healthy choices and gaining valuable culinary skills. Children gain confidence in the kitchen and parents get an opportunity to turn meal time into family time. Together, parents and children can help each other form lifelong healthy eating habits.
Class meets Thursdays beginning April 4 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Education & Conference Center (701 4th Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida 33701).
This class is free for all families; however, space is limited. To register, please email achfit4allkids@jhmi.edu or call 727-767-4952.
