K. Alicia Schulhof brings more than 17 years of experience leading complex health care organizations to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Most recently, she was the president of Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital (PMCH), and a statewide pediatric service line leader for Ascension, St. Vincent in Indiana. During her tenure at PMCH, Schulhof led the design and implementation of a statewide pediatric dashboard and data analytics hub, and facilitated the development of a five-year, statewide pediatric strategic plan that was adopted by the state-level leadership team. Vice President, Government and Community Affairs
Kimberly Berfield joined Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital as vice president, government and community affairs, in February 2017. A veteran expert in collaborative strategies in all aspects of government affairs, public policy and community initiatives, she is helping Johns Hopkins All Children’s fulfill its mission of providing child health through treatment, education, advocacy and research to children locally and beyond. Paul Danielson, M.D.
Chair, Department of Surgery
Dr. Danielson became chair of the Johns Hopkins All Children's Department of Surgery in 2020 after serving in that role on an interim basis beginning in December 2018. He specializes in general surgery and was an early adopter of minimally invasive surgical techniques, developing expertise in treating chest wall deformities. He was named Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital physician of the year in the 2015 Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Excellence Awards and in 2017 was named director of innovative training and education. As senior director of marketing and communications, Natalia Diaz oversees the hospital’s marketing and communications operations, including internal communications to physicians and employees and external marketing strategy. She joined the hospital staff in 2019. Previously Diaz served as director of marketing and communications at Brandon Regional Hospital, a 438-bed tertiary hospital in Hillsborough County, Florida, where she oversaw the hospital’s marketing, strategic communications and media relations. Vice President and Chief Patient Safety and Quality Officer
Angela Green, Ph.D., R.N., CPHQ, FAHA, FAAN, is the Catherine Kobren Endowed Professor in Patient Safety and Quality and is the vice president and chief patient safety and quality officer at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Dr. Green joined the hospital staff in September of 2017 as senior director of patient safety and quality. She joined the faculty of the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 2018. She is a nationally recognized leader in patient safety and quality and has extensive experience in practice and academic settings, including serving as a staff nurse; neonatal and cardiac nurse practitioner; academic faculty; director of nursing research and professional practice; interim chief nursing officer; and most recently, vice president for process improvement at Arkansas Children's Hospital.
