Douglas Myers, M.B.A., C.P.A., joined Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in February 2016 as vice president and chief financial officer, providing fiscal leadership to support the hospital’s mission and strategic plan. He is responsible for all financial activities of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and its system entities, including home care, a physician practice plan and research institute. This includes responsibility for finance, decision support, budgeting, financial analysis, reimbursement and all aspects of the revenue cycle. He also directs the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, preparation and coordination of external audits, 990 submission and coordination of the Finance and Investment Committees of the board of trustees.
Before joining Johns Hopkins All Children’s, Myers was chief financial officer and executive vice president of Children’s National Medical Center and has more than two decades of experience as a chief financial officer at health care institutions. Myers is a certified public accountant and holds an M.B.A. from Loyola College in Columbia, Maryland and a bachelor's in business administration from Youngstown State University in Ohio.
