Marcos DeLeon joined All Children’s Hospital in June 2015 as vice president, human resources. He is guiding leadership development, employee engagement and other key human resources initiatives for the more than 3,000 employees based at All Children’s main campus in St. Petersburg and its outpatient locations in eight Florida counties.
Before joining All Children’s, Mr. DeLeon served for five years as chief human resources officer at Truman Medical Centers in Kansas City, Mo., a not-for-profit academic medical center with two acute care hospitals affiliated with the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He previously was vice president and director of human resources for Bernstein-Reid Advertising in Kansas City, Mo., and earlier in his career he held human resources management positions with the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City and United Parcel Service in Lenexa, Kan.
Mr. DeLeon earned a B.A. in business administration and M.A. in management from Baker University in Baldwin, Kan. He served on the Kansas City Mayor’s HR Task Force and on the boards of directors for youth services programs, arts organizations and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Kansas City.
