Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and US 103.5 FM Cares for Kids Radiothon Raises $383,312

St. Petersburg, Fla. – December 2, 2016 – In its 9th year, the US 103.5 FM Cares for Kids Radiothon set another record, raising $383,312 for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, the regional Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. During the two-day on-air event, supporters presented checks and kept the phone lines ringing as grateful patients and families shared their personal stories of care and healing. Money raised from the event benefits the treatment, research, education mission.

“We are thankful to have generous donors and community organizations, like iHeartMedia and US 103.5 FM, who came together to listen to the incredible stories of our patients and help us prevent and cure childhood disease,” said Jenine Rabin, executive vice president of All Children's Hospital Foundation. “This support helps children battling disease, while allowing us to invest in research for new discoveries and better therapies.”

"We are blessed at iHeartMedia to be in a position in our community to support many different worthwhile causes throughout the year,” said Sam Nein, market president, iHeartMedia. “Nothing gives us more pride than what our US 103.5 team is able to accomplish in supporting the amazing team of people at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. They provide life changing and lifesaving services on a daily basis for children and families in the Bay Area and beyond. It is a privilege and an honor that our team truly appreciates and embraces!”
