7 South is a 28-bed unit within Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Being a part of a children's hospital offers great amenities for our patients. All we are, all we have, and all we do is for the children. It truly is a different world here...for the better!
We care for children from birth through 21 with cancer and blood disorders. We also care for patients who are preparing for or have received stem call transplants. These stem cells are harvested from bone marrow, peripheral blood or cord blood. We have treated and cured such diseases as: leukemia, aplastic anemia, sickle cell disease and neuroblastoma to name a few.
