Dr. Neustadt is an orthopaedic surgeon and serves as chairman of the division of orthopaedic surgery at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He sees patients in the St. Petersburg and Tampa locations of Children's Orthopaedic and Scoliosis Surgery Associates (COSSA), L.L.P.
COSSA is the exclusive provider of pediatric orthopaedic services at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.
Dr. Neustadt is an affiliate clinical professor in the USF Morsani College of Medicine Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He is board certified and has been recertified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has been chosen by his peers to be included in the list of Best Doctors in America each year since 1996.
He previously served as chairman of the Department of Surgery at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. Before that he was an instructor in Orthopaedic Surgery at Georgetown University.
Dr. Neustadt frequently serves as an oral examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a fellow of the Scoliosis Research Society and is currently conducting research projects in scoliosis surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the Southern Orthopaedic Association, the Florida Orthopaedic Society, and the Pinellas and Hillsborough County Medical Societies.
Dr. Neustadt earned his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.
Dr. Neustadt enjoys all aspects of pediatric orthopaedics and has a special interest in scoliosis.
