Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP restaurants have raised almost $20 million to support charities in the communities in which they operate. On March 7, 2017, from 7 AM to 7 PM, participating IHOPs once again invited guests dining in restaurants to enjoy one free short stack of buttermilk pancakes during National Pancake Day in hopes that they would leave a voluntary donation behind to benefit their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital or other designated local charities.
