All Children's Hospital Guild Beach Branch invites you to attend the "Ducky Event" on March 18, 2017, 6 p.m., at The Club at Treasure Island, 400 Treasure Island Causeway.

This 12th annual "Ducky" event (whose namesake is — what else? — a sassy yellow rubber duck) will feature cocktails, music, a sit-down dinner, a silent auction, games, prize opportunities, and more. Come in your finest Western Attire.

July 2015, the Guild’s nine Branches began work on four-year pledge to raise $1,350,000 by June 2019. One million of this will go to support pediatric nursing excellence, creating a culture that has the best patient outcomes and the best work environment by achieving Magnet Status, which is considered the “Gold Standard” for nursing. Components of this objective include (1) developing Clinical Nurse leaders in neurology, heart, asthma and pulmonology, (2) funding nursing research, (3) promoting nursing education by collaborating with local college for in-hospital training and (4) increasing the number of higher education degrees and pediatric certifications. The remaining $350,000 will purchase a new state-of-the-art pediatric ambulance.
