What you can expect from our Transport Center:
Collect all the above information upon receiving your call
Determine the appropriate physician for acceptance of the transfer
Determine the location where patient will be transferred and bed assignment
Assist with coordinating the mode of transport to assure a timely transfer to our health care facility
Johns Hopkins All Children's Critical Care Transport Team
may be asked to bring your child to Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital aboard one of our specially equipped ambulances or helicopters. If this is the case, our transport team will help to answer any questions you may have about next steps in your child's care.
