Outcomes Data

Information about a heart surgery program's outcomes (results) can help parents make choices about their child's cardiac care.

The pediatric heart surgery program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital was one of the first children's heart surgery programs in Florida. We've performed thousands of surgeries since our program began in 1976. In addition, we began performing pediatric heart transplants in 1995 and have performed more than 180 transplants.

As part of Johns Hopkins Children's Heart Surgery, we also work closely with the cardiovascular surgeons at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and at Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando.
