Pediatric rehabilitation medicine (PRM) focuses on the rehabilitation and medical management of children with brain injuries, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, neuromuscular disorders, and a range of musculoskeletal conditions. At Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, our pediatric rehabilitation specialists take a comprehensive approach to care, providing treatment that addresses the needs of the whole child.

More than just taking care of physical needs, our team helps patients and families with social issues related to their disability and offers support in communicating with the child’s school. We work closely with the Johns Hopkins All Children’s physical therapyoccupational therapy, and audiology and speech therapy teams as necessary to help meet the needs of daily life.

For patients who require orthotics, prosthetics or durable medical equipment, our team can assist caregivers in the management of these devices.
