Jac-lyn Mela, PA, joined Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in 2021. She earned her master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Barry University in St. Petersburg, Florida, in 2012 and her undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University. She has extensive previous experience in pediatric surgery. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy & Developmental Medicine. She sees patients at the hospital's main campus in St. Petersburg, and at the Outpatient Care Centers in Tampa, Pasco, and East Lake.
