Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Team

Dennis Hart, M.D.

Dr. Hart is the senior director of rehabilitation services at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and is an assistant professor of pediatrics for the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His clinical interests include functional outcomes in pediatric and adolescents with chronic pain and evaluating the relationship between mental health and chronic pain.

After graduating from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, Dr. Hart completed a residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and a fellowship at the University of California Davis Medical Center. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pediatric rehabilitation medicine.

James L. Chinarian, M.D.

Dr. Chinarian joined Pediatric Rehabilitative Medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in 2015. He previously served as the medical director of the Myelomeningocele Care Center at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. After graduating from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Dr. Chinarian completed a combined residency in pediatrics and physical medicine and rehabilitation at Wayne State University. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric rehabilitation medicine.
