Linda Van Marter, M.D. M.P.H.

NEONATOLOGY
Dr. Van Marter is the medical director of the Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute and chief of Newborn Medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She joined the hospital staff in 2021. She also is a professor of Pediatrics (PAR) in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Van Marter was most recently an associate professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and the associate chair for Academic Affairs in the Department of Pediatric Newborn Medicine at Brigham & Women’s Hospital (BWH).

Suzanne Icely, M.D.

OBSTETRICS / GYNECOLOGY
Dr. Icely has practiced in the St. Petersburg area since 1998 and has been part of the adolescent gynecology program at All Children's Hospital since 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Icely completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Florida College, where she served as chief resident and twice received first-place research awards from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She joined OB/GYN Associates (now Johns Hopkins All Children's Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialists) in 1998.

Jose Prieto, M.D.

PERINATOLOGY
Dr. Prieto is medical director of maternal-fetal medicine in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute. He specializes in the care of the mother and fetus in high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Prieto is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he also received a Master's in Public Health. He completed his residency in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center/Houston at L.B.J. General Hospital, where he was named Outstanding Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and Magee-Women's Hospital. He joined Maternal Fetal Medicine Associates in 1996. Dr. Prieto is the Clinical Practice Director for All Children's Perinatology Specialists.

Carrie Gavriloff, M.S.N., M.B.A.

SENIOR DIRECTOR
Carrie Gavriloff is senior director for administration in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute. She joined the team in 2022. Previously, she worked 24 years at Akron Children’s Hospital, a two-hospital, 343-bed system in northeastern Ohio, where she began her career as a clinical nurse and advanced into leadership roles. In Akron, Gavriloff served 10 years as administrative director for the NeuroDevelopmental Science Center, a U.S. News and World Report top 50 program. Reporting directly to the vice president of medical/surgical specialties, she also provided administrative leadership to the divisions of endocrinology and infectious disease. Gavriloff has a B.S.N. from Kent State University and received both an M.S.N. in health care education and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix. She holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Jennifer Bouzid, M.S.N., R.N, RNC-NIC, NEA-BC, C-ONQS

SENIOR DIRECTOR, NURSING
Jennifer Bouzid is senior director of Nursing for the Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She began her nursing career in the NICU at Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas where she served in multiple leadership roles in Parkland’s Women and Infant Specialty Health Division, overseeing nursing operations, quality improvement, surveys and accreditations. She led that hospital in achieving its first Level III NICU designation and first Level IV Maternal designation.
