Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is committed to helping kids enjoy happy and healthy lives. We provide high-quality, safe care with a staff of experienced, passionate doctors and nurses, all while training the next generation of physicians.
From newborns to teenagers, we understand the unique needs of our patients at different stages of their childhood development. Our clinic takes a comprehensive approach–specializing in the treatment and prevention of common pediatric and adolescent conditions. If your child experiences acute/sick symptoms, we are able to accommodate same-day appointments.
Johns Hopkins All Children’s community outreach programs promoting healthy behavior, such as our acclaimed Fit4AllKids program, are also available to our patients and their families.
We know that your child is the most precious part of your world. That’s why we are dedicated to delivering care that is easily accessible, highly coordinated and—above all—focused on positive outcomes.
Adolescent and Young Adult Specialty Care
Beyond the comprehensive care we offer, our physicians have access to pediatric specialists and subspecialists based in the very Outpatient Care Center in which we’re located. If your child needs specialty care, we will refer him or her to The Adolescent and Young Adult Specialty Clinic. You must be referred by a physician in order to schedule an appointment at the Adolescent and Young Adult Specialty Clinic.
Our practice believes that vaccinating children and young adults is a crucial step in promoting healthy lives and futures. Because failure to follow the recommended childhood vaccine schedule may endanger the health and life of a child, as well as the lives of other individuals with whom the child comes in contact, we strongly encourage parents to vaccinate their children on time according to the recommended schedule.
We understand that parents have questions and concerns about vaccines and our pediatricians will be happy to discuss those concerns with you as a new patient. If you have already decided with absolute certainty that you will not vaccinate your child, we encourage you to find another health care provider who shares your views.
